Ruudt Wackers is a painter and sculptor Dutch , born in 1941 in Echt-Susteren . The painter Henk Van Leeuwen guided him to enter the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten (Academy of National Art) in Amsterdam , where he received painting courses by Sierk Schröder. In 1983 he founded an art school "Wackers Academy", which is still in business. Since the early 1990s, Ruudt has lived and worked in France. First in the Lot where he became friends with singer Nino Ferrer and then, in 1998, at the castle of Bru in Perville in Tarn-et-Garonne. He has exhibited in many countries (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, United States, Germany),
